Isabeau Reigns Once Again - 2022 EWS Champion
The culmination of the 2022 Enduro World Series saw success for two Hutchinson athletes on their home soil in France, with Isabeau Courdurier securing the overall women’s title and Lisandru Bertini taking his first ever victory in the U21 category at the Loudenvielle race.
Isabeau claimed the overall title after coming in second place on the day, topping off a brilliant season that included four victories and beating her nearest rival by over 700 points. Meanwhile Lisandru had the perfect end to the season, finishing five seconds up on second place to claim his first ever EWS race victory after a consistent run of top 20 results throughout the year.
ISABEAU'S TYRE OF CHOICE: TORO GRAVITY
Both Isabeau and Lisandru chose the Toro as their tyre of choice for the weekend. The steep Pyrenean trails had been left slick and treacherous by significant rain leading up to the race weekend with the aggressive tread and mud shedding abilities of the Toro proving crucial in their battles to secure victory.
