GT Fury was first production carbon DH frame and got a good reputation in the racing scene with the success of champions like Mick Hannah, Marc Beaumont and Atherton family (Rachel also won the UCI MTB World Cup on this bike). Fury is one of the most wanted bikes out there, not just because of all the victories, but mostly because the advanced technology behind Independent Drivetrain. All models in the bike family share the same suspension platform, they differ in material and components.

On this anniversary GT introduced three GT models with Hans Ray signature – Zaskar 100, Avalanche and Karakoram. All are in white and gold colors and all are featured with his preferred components.

The new GT Fury World Cup is only 4 months old, but it already has 5 World Cup victories and now also a rainbow title. Rachel has done it again, so it’s only fair that we take a look back at this amazing race.

On Sunday in South Africa the Pietermaritzburg track was bathed in glorious sunshine as the women took their places at the top of the tough, slippery course.

We are happy to announce a very cool auction of the generously donated GT Fury frames ridden by Gee Atherton, Rachel Atherton and Marc Beaumont at the 2012 World Championships in Austria.

These GT Carbon Fury Downhill frames have only been ridden for a few days and come with a custom paint job that was specially made for the 2012 Downhill World Championships. Each frame comes with a signed memorabilia from the rider, along with a letter of authenticity from Atherton Racing Team.

The team unveiled new bikes and race kit and chatted about the strength that they draw from being part of the immensely successful Atherton/GT bicycles collaboration and their individual goals as they gear up for 2014.

Hafjell’s World Championship race was unanimously labelled “intense”. It’s a challenging and technical track and it took its toll on many riders – including GT Factory Racing’s Juniors. Taylor Vernon finished in 40th after a big crash, while Martin Maes, the team’s young Enduro star suffered a puncture finishing in 59th.
