The modern trekker or adventurer demands her gear to be small, light and fully functional. The new ultra light weight Lofoten 1 ULW from Nordisk meets all of those demands. It is a fully functional two layer tent complete with both durable and weather resistant flysheet and a breathable inner tent. The complete race weight of the tent is a mere 490 grams making it probably the lightest tent on the market.

Cutting edge materials
Nordisk has attained the record breaking low weight by using new innovative materials like the ultra light 7-denier flysheet with an extremely strong performance/weight ratio. It is made of 100% rip-stop nylon which has been coated with silicone on both sides through a unique coating technique that ensures a flexible yet very strong fabric. The flysheet has a hydrostatic head of 1600 mm where the ground sheet reaches 3500 mm. More than enough to keep you dry – and not too much to keep a high breathability of the fabric.

Ultra short poles
The small pack size is achieved partly due to using shorter, foldable aluminium poles constructed in the very strong 7001/7.5 mm aluminium. The guy rope is the ultra strong Dyneema 1.2 mm – a slim and lightweight yet very durable and strong guy rope. To top it all Lofoten is equipped with five ultra light Titanium Tooth Pegs designed for grounding under race-like conditions.

Bonus Pack
With the Lofoten comes a Bonus Pack of accessories which includes extra guy ropes with sliders and five Triple Twister alu pegs. It also contains a repair kit including extra silicone rings, tube and repair fabric for fixing the tent on tour.

3-in-1
The Lofoten range also includes a two-man tent with a more spacious inner tent. The flysheet is the same, so if you buy the 2-man inner tent separately, you have a very flexible tent. Both flysheet and inner tent can be used as stand-alone.
