LED Lenser is a German company, founded in a garage in 1994, with 1,000 DM start up capital, a sketch book, a toolbox and an old Atari computer. But with heads full of innovative ideas! Harald and Rainer Opolka, twin brothers that started the company were and still are obsessed with light and lamps, which lead to the company with more than 1,000 employees, three manufacturing bases and R&D center with great number of engineers.

LED Lenser (the official name of the company is Zweibrüder Optoelctronics) is now a leading manufacturer of flashlights that are second to none. They have over 200 patents and several levels of products; we offer you hi-end High Performance Line.

Advanced focused system
The optics that direct the beam of light are one of the core technologies at LED Lenser and make the products so amazing. Construction of the lamp is build with reflector and a lens, and the user chooses the defocused or focused mode. When focused the light distributes via reflector and lens, which creates a narrow and very powerful beam at the long distance. In defocused position the light is spread and creates a circular beam. This technology is used in almost every LED Lenser light, together with advanced LEDs or Light Emitting Diodes (we will write about them in the future).
