A modern-day ripper based off of 25 years on the trails and podiums.
“The GT Sanction is our winning bike. Developed and tested together with Dan Atherton, this bike is essentially an Enduro missile. The rear shock remote control makes it possible to put the power down on the pedals on climbs or during sprints easily. The unique geometry reminded us of a mini-DH bike in the downhill sections.” These are the words used by the Mtb-mag team on the end of the big bike test, on which 15 top enduro bikes went head-to-head.
The chainstays of all Grade have been engineered with clearance to accommodate a wide choice of tread patterns and tire widths beyond 35mm, plus disc brakes, thru-axle fork and components that will allow us to demand the maximum in all circumstances.
After qualifying, Tyler was unable to compete in the finals the next day due to a crash sustained in practice. Finals or no finals, one thing is for sure, Tyler is hands down one of the best riders on two wheels and this run is a perfect example of that.
This stacked lineup will be positioned to perform at the highest level, and have fun doing it, on the UCI Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series circuits. “We’re excited to welcome George, Noga, and Joey to the GTFR family,” said Mark Maurissen, GTFR Team Manager. “Together with Wyn and Martin, they are up for a great adventure and are prepared to chase down medals all over the world.”
“GT has a rich history of top-level racing successes and a line of World Championship-proven bikes,” said Tim Inall, Global General Manager for GT. “The brand is extremely proud to have been associated with Atherton Racing program since 2012. Now, however, we’re ready for this next chapter in GT Factory Racing. We are excited to continue the momentum to form and manage a new team of accomplished riders from around the world.”
