The New Cannondale SuperSix EVO Neo

An E-Road Bike Built to Fly. The ultimate lightweight road bike, with a boost when you want it.

Cannondale, a premium brand of Dorel Industries, Inc., today introduced the new SuperSix EVO Neo – an electric-assist version of its timeless road racing machine, the SuperSix EVO. The SuperSix EVO Neo retains the light weight, handling and ride feel of the original, but with a discreet boost that tames hills and headwinds.

Its non-electric sibling SuperSix EVO is the fastest lightweight bike there is. The electric Neo version benefits from the same aerodynamic achievements. “We know that drag reduction has a huge effect on speed and performance in cycling,” said Nathan Barry, Cannondale Design Engineer. “This holds true for e-road bikes as well; reducing drag makes it easier to go faster, especially once riders go above the assistance threshold.” Highly truncated airfoil tube shapes, which can generate up to 30% less drag than a comparably sized round tubes, are used throughout the frame, and system integrated components like the sleek SAVE SystemBar, KNØT stem and 27 KNØT seatpost all aid in keeping drag low and speeds high.

This e-road bike is light. Cannondale paired its proprietary BallisTec carbon fiber construction with Mahle ebikemotion’s X35 world-class light weight drive system. The SuperSix EVO Neo 1 model weighs just 11.3 kg/24.9 lbs (based on a size large), delivering a ride that is so responsive, snappy, and lively that it’s easy to forget the SuperSix EVO Neo is an e-bike until it powers up hills.

The ebikemotion drive system consists of a light, 250w rear hub motor and 250Wh battery hidden in the frame, offering three levels of “just right” support up to 25 kph; there when it’s needed, and invisible when it’s not. An integrated top tube control button lets riders select assist levels and monitor battery charge on the fly, while blending seamlessly into the look of the frame and keeping the handlebars free of clutter.

SuperSix EVO Neo offers riders a new way to connect with their bike and the ride experience. Cannondale connected technology seamlessly pairs an integrated wheel sensor with the Cannondale App to deliver hyper-accurate speed, route and distance info, as well as provide curated information about their bike, send detailed service reminders and more all through their smartphone.

The SuperSix EVO Neo line-up features three disc-brake models available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. For more information on the all-new SuperSix EVO Neo, visit www.cannondale.com.
