Hutchinson has introduced new Griffus tires, aimed at enduro and downhill riding and racing. Available in 2.4" and 2.5" widths and specific profile they are perfect selection for dry, mixed or rocky terrain.

Griffus 2.4
The Griffus 2.40 is the faster rolling version, its central tread offering the right compromise between efficiency and braking. With a 57 mm cross section and a faster central tread it can be used as a rear tire for riders seeking to save precious seconds in competition.
The Griffus 2.40 is also a versatile tire and can also be used for All
Mountain riding as a front and rear option.
Profile with reduced height central knobs and offset shoulder knobs is fast rolling and offers great traction. A tri-compound Race Ripost Gravity construction that precisely controls tread deformation and increases grip. A 66 TPI Hardskin casing will give you the ability to handle the most difficult terrain.

Griffus 2.5
Knobs on the 2.5-inch-wide tires are aligned in perfect rows, with steeper leading edges, to increase traction. While you can ride either width front and rear, the 2.5″ version was originally designed as a front tire with the 2.4″ designed for the rear.
The 2.5" Griffus has taller knobs, with a decreased angle at the front of the center knobs compared to the 2.4" Griffus.

Tricompound
Hutchinson uses three rubber durometers on the Griffus - a 94a base material, 40a for the side knobs, and 50a for the center knobs.

HARDSKIN
The 66 TPI casing is the perfect balance between resistance and weight, to guarantee performance from regular to intensive practice.
